When I started this blog I wanted it to be 80% Americana Music and 20% me. My fantastic news is that I was hired as a permenant employee at the Americana Music Association. Ever since then I have felt like 80% of this blog is a conflict of interest explaining my absence. The opinions on this blog are mine and mine alone and I never want what I say to affect the association.
What have I been doing instead? I have put an emphasis on my health, learned to use my DSLR, and am contributing to my husband's blog, Nerdgasm Now. I customized it and have even guest posted. He really liked the posts so I will probably contribute once a week or so over there. It looks like Tuesday will be my day.
What will happen to this blog? A complete redesign and restructure. Sorry boys, the blog is going mostly girly! I am still working out the plan, so details will come later this month. I will tell you this... It is going to be much more personal and posts will come more regularly. The blog will still have some music posts because, well, I wouldn't be me without it. However they will be majorly scaled back and will branch out to other types of music completely based on my interest level.
